All Swordcraft owned currency is deemed as lootable from all players, at
all times.
If you are in the bleed-out state, and a player says "Loot" they are roleplaying looting your body and you are required to hand over 3 Copper coins on your persons. As this equates to a tap and run. If they want to loot the entire coin quantity on your person they will need to be undiscovered with your body for 5mins - the duration of bleed out if "first aid" was applied.
This rule is being trialled to encourage more in-depth roleplay. Players are still advised to store large quantities of currency in their camp, and only travel with what they would be okay with having looted.
If large sums of currency are needed to be transported, bodyguards are advised.
The Teller Society also offers currency transport services & insurance to players. Players may not go Out-Of-Character or via OOC zones to move currency from one location to another.
On your adventures throughout the event you will undoubtedly stumble across items set out for Quests, these will be marked with small Quest Tags.
As a player you may interact with and loot these items even if you are NOT on the Quest.
If you do loot an item that is clearly a Quest item, ensure you follow up with NPCs to keep story and roleplay moving, as looting a quest item and keeping it in your pouch the entire event now stalls any roleplay or progression for that Quest and is against the spirit of the LARP.
Players must NOT store Quest items in Out of Play Areas and may NOT intentionally lose a Quest item. Remember, just because something is lootable does not mean that it is not stealing IC, be careful!
If you choose to not follow up on a Quest item, return it to a NPC to be redistributed.
For players wanting to encourage their own roleplay quests, lootable item tags will be available at the event for any mundane items.
You may also print them ahead of time by clicking on the loot tag pictured here and printing the linked image yourself.
Quest Lootable Item Tags
