Laws of another land will be acknowledged but not enforced. We are the Baron’s town and shall employ their wisdom.
All citizens are required to have a completed identification paper on their person. Without identification you will void any protection granted under the Laws of Helsreik.
If a person has committed a crime and found with no ID they are to be immediately ejected from town (depending on crime severity).
All weapons beyond the classification of a dagger are to be sheathed within the walls of our great town. Any found weapons within the town must bear legal permission or be stowed away. Individuals with no identifications bearing arms beyond the classifications of a dagger will face a harsher penalty.
To save Helsreik the horror of a third purge any found affiliated should be held/treated in a quarantine area outside of town. It is the responsibility of the healers guild to look after their healers.
All matters that require legal debate bearing a medium or high severity, are to be given ½ day advance notice. Cases of Medium Severity may ask for a representative to explain the parties actions.
You must carry a lit lantern or one lantern between two people after dark. In knowledge of the dangers that plague beyond our walls, the gates will close at 6pm and the services of the guard will be relieved of civilian duties.
All letters pleads and written requests addressing those of official stature must be sealed by the appropriate parties, otherwise they will be considered acts of heresy and fraud.
Each Registered Clan is required to register their seal and signature with the Magistrate.
If a seal is found to have been stolen then all paperwork signed with that seal is revoked until an investigation occurs proving validity.
Do not impede the actions of the Baron’s employ less you wish to receive the same fate. Those employed under the baron must have a mark or indication of employment.
Do not loiter in business or office areas. Do not impede the economy.
Do not tamper with the dead with magic, body snatching or mutilation.
Will now carry the death sentence with no parole.
